CanGas was founded in 2010 by Ihsan Firat, a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Technical Education. The foundation of the company was shaped by his experience in LPG conversion companies during his student years, where he observed industry gaps and the lack of local production solutions. Since its establishment, CanGas has aimed to develop advanced technology and strong industry experience to produce domestic LPG conversion kits and create value for the country. With over 28 years of industry experience in its management team, CanGas has accelerated its R&D processes and developed innovative solutions. In line with this vision, Turkey’s first sequential system LPG kit with fully domestic production and software was successfully developed in 2011. Headquartered in Izmir, CanGas achieved its first export in the same year. Today, the company serves through more than 200 sales and service points across Turkey and continues to export to many countries across 5 continents. CanGas stands out in the industry with its pioneering innovations. As a world first in 2016*, it developed a special LPG conversion kit that can be applied to carburetor, mechanical, and single-point injection engines. This MIC series sequential system LPG system brought new-generation engine performance to older vehicles and attracted strong demand in both domestic and international markets.
As an innovative result of a goal-driven approach, the Master Direct kit was developed after 4 years of R&D and introduced to the industry in 2022. Developed entirely by Turkish engineers, Master Direct minimizes gasoline consumption in direct injection vehicles, achieving fuel savings of up to 50% with only 1.5–2% gasoline usage per tank. Today, as part of the CAF Group, CanGas works in coordination with authorized dealers in all application, installation, and performance processes of its products. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sustainable quality, it continues its journey toward becoming a global brand in domestic production.
